Can't bind/rebind DX6 / ar610 to naze32.

Hi there. I've not been having a lot of luck with any TX/RXs lately with my quadcopter. My first DX5e has just stopped working completely and my friends tunigy controller doesn't even want to bind to my quadcopter. I've taken the plunge and bought myself a brand new DX6. I followed the correct instructions to bind it. I put in the bind plug, inserted an ESC and plugged in my battery. I held down the bind button and turned on my transmitter. After a few seconds, It came up saying bind failed.

I was unsure if I needed to plug all the ESCS into the naze32 and insert the throttle from the board to the receiver then bind. So I tired that, bind failed after 5 seconds. I tried the normal bind plug plus receiver power pack and that bound just fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks
Marc

The dx6 will only accept certain rx. I have a DSM and it did not accept it to bind on. However the DSRX it does. Something to do with it will only bind to powerful RXs

Try another TX and see what happens?

Hi mate its the same as my dx9 well the new DX6 is a down graded DX9 it will bind to dsm2 dsmx , sorry i didnt know the receiver you had was just dsm

I have a DX5e that is currently in a "give up mode". It just gives off a constant beep with all the LEDs fully on. Tried numerous fixes I found online but nothing appears to fix it. Thats why I went and bought a DX6 with AR610 receiver.
It would be kind of useless to ship an AR610 receiver with a DX6 if it doesn't bind to it? Well it does bind to it but I can't bind it to something with ESCS.

I'm starting to get quite confused now lol! I don't know much about this DSM,dsmx stuff. I think they should bind together since they came bundled but I'm struggling to do so. As I said, it binds using a receiver pack + bind plug and not esc bind route.

The esc may have a non zero throttle failsafe what this means is if the receiver does not see zero throttle is will not go into flight mode so we have to use a receiver flight pack to power the receiver , so if you use a power pack into the receiver so it binds them connect the FCB does it power the board ok , if yes you may have to use a BEC to power receiver and FCB

Thanks for that!

Just an update on my situation. I got everything going! I plugged in my power pack to the receiver and plugged the lipo battery with ESC in at the same time. Bound straight away! Then I came across another issue. I never noticed in base flight that when I was giving it throttle, It was moving the aux slider as well. I set up one of the switches on my dx6 to arm and disarm the motors. So I moved the connection in the aux port to the gear port. Now my gear switch arms and disarms my board! Full throttle made the aux slider 0 and no throttle had the aux port slider at 1000. Don't really know much about the problem but I fixed it using a gear port instead of aux port. A good thing is, I don't need the battery pack in the receiver to keep it working.
