tbh im done with my u807, tired of crashing and I HATE flying LOS....im gonna get the falcon and goggles and if that goes bad ill just never do drones again. had a horrible experience with my glider and evertime my u807 pisses me off i start feeling the glider feelings from 2006. maybe im just not meant to be into air stuff, even though i was in the air force i only lasted 4 years and my bird doesnt even want to play with me much and i cant even fly this 40$ quad properly. tired of all the BS in life,every time i try to get into something to help me cope with life, god finds a way to use it to make me even more miserable.

Chill dude. There is a saying that nothing worth doing is easy and if it was easy anyone could do it. I got into this hobby for the challenge and yes even the potential risk of loss and crashes. Part of getting good at anything means you will screw up, fail and maybe break things or blow money on mistakes to become wise. This is a hobby that takes time and learning. It takes crashes and mistakes and then figuring out how to fix it. Stick with it. Crash and get better. One thing is clear that this hobby will bring crashes and frustration but also will yield wisdom and proficiency and joy with hard earned improvement. I honestly dont see the fun in something i can do perfectly without effort or challange or without some risk.

Eta- if you get the falcon it's almost a sure thing you will crash it. How can you not? That speedy little guy is going to hit a tree or the ground. You have to walk before you can run.

Some good advice above. Take it easy and slow. Practice, practice and then practice some more. It's not going to happen in a few days, or even a week.

And gotta say. The U807 should be a GREAT flyer for a beginner. I know because I'm a beginner and it's easily the best of the 3 quads I have so far. Good luck.

I would get pretty comfortable with that U807 before i would ever attempt to fly a hobby grade quad that should be considered far more to dangerous to people and property compared to that U807..Not to mention a heck of alot more expensive when you do break something.

Keep flying your U807 and you WILL get better and more comfortable with it...Soon you will be so comfortable that it maybe becomes boring for you to fly...This is when you move to the next level, or is it?

Im having a blast with these toy quads but have zero doubts i could easily fly a hobby grade...Im not making the transition just yet because im still having fun and i like the low cost of the toy quads and the numerous combinations possible to find the ultimate toy quad.
