Xk x350 Battery options

Can the xk x350 take other batteries besides the official one? I was looking to get the quad and a spare, but the official one is like $35 USD.. any more reasonably priced ones around?

There is no reason why it shouldn't work. It's batteries are not the smart type. They are just plain lipo's. Make sure to choose the same number of cells. It's a 3S (3 cell) 11.1v

The battery is a 3S (11.1 volt) 2200 mah LiPo with an XT60 connector. They don't give dimensions, but you should be able to do some searching and get an idea about the cost of suitable replacements. You should be able to do better than $35. You will have the measure the stock battery to be sure of what replacements will fit. Here's one possibility:

Stock battery is 100mm x 33mm x 23mm. So see how much wiggle room you have and with a little investigation, you should be able to find one that'll increase your flight time. For example this Floureon 2700mah (stock is 2200mah) is only slightly larger at 105 x 35x 28

I am buying this unit now and was wondering what you went with for a battery on the x350 and maybe any other upgrade?
