Where to buy the right ESC?

Ok, I am sure that you have heard this before..

I am building my first quadcopter. I have purchased the following (before reading forums):
*F450 DJI
*Naze32 Full
*ZIPPY Flightmax 2100mAh 3S1P 30C LiFePo4 Pack
*Taranis X9d Plus with receiver x8r

Now I need a Motors and ESCs:
I was thinking SunnySky motors (maybe x2212 980Kv)
but not sure on the 30a ESCs (maybe afro from HK)
Maybe 10" APC blades (heard good stuff)

Since most of the threads I saw were older, I was wondering is there any newer or is "tried and true" the better move.

Future Plan is LTV camera (FPV), LEDs, retractable LG & GPS.

I have been running the 35amp version of these, and they are highly reliable. I think the 25 would apply to your build.

I am actually building a quad right now that is going to use the e series 640s escs. I would have gone with Castle, but these came in an esc/ motor/prop kit, and I have been wanting to try the e series escs out.

Ringalong gave you good advice. I'm a fan of the ZTW Spider ESC's and Castle UBEC's. I prefer the Spider 30A small. Runs cooler, lighter and you can upgrade motors or props later and your covered.

You can find them cheaper if you want to wait.

You can mount these on top of your Rx and have no problems.

I just noticed the type of battery. I would recommend a lipo not lfp pack.

Really good information. Thanks this cleared up my ESC question.

Now what motors do you think will be good for these parts (including spider ESC opto)?

Also "rideolong" mentioned lipo versus liFe, is there a thread or article that can show me the difference ?

life is lower voltage than lipo so you will get less punch, and things will be sluggish.

I think your choice of motors is a good choice for the type of setup your are putting together.
