So as many of you have gotten one of these quadcopters for Christmas like I did from my wife. I heard about these device and I enjoy video and photographic from the air. I hope to attach a Ricoh Theta 360 camera to one on day. So here's the problem I have notice between a $100-200 quadcopter & a $1,000+ quadcopter. My wife gotten me the Syma X5SW, I took it to the Christmas party at my inlaw cause the school across from their house had a football field and I though this would be enough space to play around with my new gift. My brother inlaw brought his quadcopter that he had gotten with his job. Now his was the professional quadcopter Phantom 3 Professional. I kinda enjoy flying my quadcopter but disappointed in the stability, especially the rise and fall, and sometime it would drift alot more then I would like. Then I tried out my brother inlaw Phantom 3 and I notice a big diffrence in the stability like night and day. I was able to run the whole length of the football field rotate around and back to me full speed and stop on a dime right in front of my face. I was amazed by this drone that I want to take my back and see if there other drones that can do better. So I trade mine Syma for a UDI R/C U842. Now this quadcopter I believe was a better build then the Syma, but the performance was just the same. I trim the front and back, and the left and right and it would still drift. Just not a stable as the Phantom. Is there a medium quadcopter that is not as expensive as the Phantom and not as lame as the two that I have tried?
