What do you think of this build?

I want to build my first Hexacopter and after two weeks I nearly decided what I want to get. The hexa should be as stable as possible and also be able to carry some proper weight, because I will be buying a dslr-gimbal soon after.

My biggest concern are the motors and propellers, because I want them to lift a lot, but heard that too much kv/RPM causes vibration and "shakiness".

Any critic is really appreciated.

I am open to correction, but don't you need brushless ESCs?

Here is a 30 amp brushless ESC. Also I'd suggest carbon Fibre props, more durable and less likely to explode midair.

This motor's test: 8x4E - 14.8v - 222W - 15A, shows it pulling 15Aout of 17A limit with 8x4 on 4s.

You probably can't swing the 9x4.7 without burning this motor out on 4s. You might get a different motor. Here is a 1000kv motor that would do it with even more pitch.

You probably should get three sacs of the bullet connectors. On a quad you are usually two female short. To put these connectors you may need at the very very least a 35 watt soldering iron. I did mine with little difficulty using a 50 watt station. If you have a SMD-air station even better.

I think that frame has an integrated power distribution board, but if not you may want to pick one up.

Whenever possible order from the closest warehouse as it will save you a lot on shipping.

Hi mate Way to much KV Ok some rule that will help you
Work out the over all flight weight inc camera then times by 2.5 then devide by the amount of motors this will give you how much lift each must make
High KV motors spin small props very fast , for smoothness long flight times of big quads low KV motors and big props ( my 700 runs 650kv and 14x5.5 props
on a quad if one motor fails it drops 6 or more if a motor fails it will still fly
As for what your doing I would look at motors between 350 and 650kv and props of 14 to 16 inch
30 amp ESCs with simonk firmware
and Min of 5000mah 4 cell battery
its going to be a heavy multirotor but the motors are for a heavy lift machine
FCB I would spend some dosh and get the DJI Nasa M with GPS the KK is good but not for the sort of money that quad will be worth, and any good camera platfrom need a good FCB , is some thing goes wrong it will come home , so your not got a total loss due to it crashing and you cant find it
And talking about that for the little extra i would put a model tracker on it like the loc8tor its very small has its own battery and you have the receiver in your pocket

Yeah, after reading your post you need a much bigger quad to carry a DSLR. A 9x4 with 1000kv motor could only provide a max of 28.3 oz of weight. * 8 so you could carry 85.9, so you could only carry a little over 5 pounds.
