WFI Connection

I bought a Quadcopter X8HW and want to connect the camera to my smartphone. I start WIFi and see the name "FPV WIFI_C686", but internet was not available and in the SYMA FPV app the WIFI icon has a red color. now, I connect without internet but the app shows still a WIFI icon in red color. How can I fix this issue?

Is there a way you can post a screenshot of "app shows still a WIFI icon in red color"?
In spite of your wifi icon showing red color, did your smartphone show the images sent from the drone's camera?

P.S.
You don't need internet to connect the drone to your smartphone.
You don't need nor want internet connection when flying a FPV drone.
In fact, once you have the drone connected with the FPV app on your smartphone, it always says "no internet". That is normal.

My smartphone didn't show images from the drone's camera. I will take a screenshot and post it here.

Now, I know the connection without internet is normal. Yesterday evening, I saw the app is SYMA FPV+ (installed via Google PlayStore). I removed this app and installed SYMA FPV via the APK.file from the website of SYMA. When I am at home, coming weekend, I will test again. For, now thank you for your support.

If somehow Syma FPV app is unsatisfactory, give Syma Fly app a try (Google Play Store).

Is the icon I circled in red the Wifi icon?
If yes, strangely it is normal for your X8HW.
I took it from a Youtube video of Syma X8HW, and the guy was flying the drone with the icon in red color. At one time, the icon was completely red.

I take some screenshots and attach them to this post. I can see the connect is made, because my smartphone becomes an IP-adress. From my point of view the app isn't the right version. The app SYMA FPV has an bug. After a few seconds the following message appears: " SYMA FPV closed because this app has a bug". I use Android 12.0, but I can also use Android 8.0. Maybe you can provide an APK-file with the correct version of the app.
