Waterproofing

I got parts on order for a micro build & as it gets wet where I am or damp in the winter I'm looking to build an indestructible, no worries except for props, build. I didn't even bother going out last winter. There was about 3 whole months I didn't get out. Well I'm not having that this year. But I'm not taking my babies apart & I ain't had any fatal crashes this year so Im doing a cheap but cool frame from China.
I'm sure I said the other day I never buy China gear but hey ho. I'm in no rush. On this one. What I was wondering was, I have seen a few videos on waterproofing but they only shows boards & esc's mainly.
But what about motors. Can a motor damage an esc if submerged or splashed. Would any suggest waterproofing the motors as in dipping them or is this harmful. I can get cans of suppressed air @ work so if it was to get caked in mud or cow shiiit I can rinse it off & blow it dry sort of.
Any input on this even any suggestions on decent water proofer,

Welcome to the dark side, Moz (about the China suppliers). I order a ton of stuff from there. PayPal and then semi-forget it until it shows up. As long as you stick with the big name sites, you will be fine. And if anything goes wrong the PayPal dispute process is your best friend.

As far the the waterproofing questions...I have nothing. I live in Southern California where rain is a jaw-drop event. That's why your scenery is so much prettier!

I've gotten brushless motors wet many times when, because of my impatience, I fly before the morning dew has lifted. Just blow them out with canned air and they'll be fine. In fact, many people break in their bl motors using a process wherein they're submerged in water. (you can google it)

Wise guy eh, nyuck nyuck.
I got spare kit to do a test with but each test could be different. I wouldn't dip the bell, just the windings & stators.
