Updating a RTF Quad

I kind of asked this question before, but not sure I got a good answer.

I have a Phantom 3 Standard, a Wingsland Scarlet Minivet Clone called a Raptor, and a
Tarantula X6 RC Quadcopter.

The Raptor is giving me issues with Compass Calibration and erratic flight behavior. My thought was to replace the flight controller. I have not opened it up yet to see how discreet all the components are yet. Any thoughts on what I might use and if doable.

This would also get me started in thinking about building my own quad.

Hi Bill this will depend on what transmitter you have , if you have a good transmitter ( not a cheap RTF one most toys come with) you could you the tarot xzy-m or see if you can get your hands on a write off phantom rip the guys out of it to get the naza -m GPS and compass

If it's this I doubt it's a clone, just a rebadge, probably of an older version.

Yes that is it. Actually not too bad of a quad. Good flyer and decent videos when it was working well. And I got it for $249 on sale.

Thanks for that link. Good view of the guts. Not that I am sure what I am looking at yet...

Easy enough to open though.
