Commercial regulations are different again...

But under 20kg and non commercial and the following seems to apply.
(I am not a lawyer or an employee of the CAA, this is just what I have found so far. Hope it helps)

I didn't read it all, but I liked how they tied the license test to a practical flying test. If drone popularity continues I think the laws will eventually evolve to require something like a drivers license.

It's a pain FPV is 400 feet out 400 feet up and you need a spotter with you so it becomes LOS for them as a spotter
If your doing it as a pro you have to take a flight test by a qualified CAA tester to get a licence

Gotcha - very similar here - except for the flight test.

Blah blah blah my kit is all legal & if I got a spotter then that does me.
If I haven't then I go middle of nowhere with about a 3 miles circle & put the 600mw on. Cops don't really bat an eyelid. But they do bate. What I thought was a local scallywag was quizzing me about my gear then asked if I would be interested in a jail run. I told him no & packed up. Well some woman we know was murder by her husband a few weeks ago and guess who was parked outside for the first couple of days. This bating copper. So I goes over & says hello.
He basically said it was a good job, I was a good boy. I just shook my head & walked away saying he needed to get back on the beat as he couldn't run very far.
He ain't catching me in my see you laters.

I used to fly at an historic house never had a problem used to have lots of families come over and ask about the helicopters , then one day some twat crashed a phantom in to the back of the house when the house owners got hold of the phantom they saw it had a camera and looked at the footage all the person flying was recording was the Windows and doors at the back of the house to find a way to break in , so now no one can fly on the grounds of the house any more

I assume you mean fingerprints, Moz? Love learning new little phrases. Over on this side of the pond, dab has a completely different meaning.
