Hello. I am working on a class project to build a flight controller out of an arduino and a gyro. I have been watching a lot of videos on youtube, but I can't get any of my motors to spin.

I am using the multiwii config, a Flysky tx/rx combo, and a 4x1 racestar20 ESC.

My TX/RX are bound, and I can see all my throttle/yaw/pitch/roll values changing in MultiWii.

I have the manual for the ESC, and I can't get the calibration beeps to work out.

Anyone here have any experience with multiwii that might be able to help me? I can get pics, videos, or whatever info I'm leaving out.

I appreciate the link. We've seen and tried to do that type of calibration several times. I am not sure if we have a calibration or an arming issue. Maybe it is because we have a 4x1 ESC, but this method in this video hasn't been able to help us to get the motors spin.

In the video, the motor spins, even when the ESC is not calibrated. We can't even get the motors to spin.

You powered the 4x1 and the RX?

Yes. Lots of beeping from the motors when I move throttle around, but none that ever matches the calibration sheet.
