Nice and smooth. great orbits. Ive got a practice routine that I used to help get a better feel for catching myself lower and lower to the ground with out as much bounce. come to a hover a foot or so off the ground. this helps get a visual queue of what the environment looks like when youre close to the ground. then cycle through various height single flips. get to where you can time the flip with the various heights of your flips so that when you finish your rotation you are level with the ground and catch yourself back into a hover around your starting height. High throttle blips/slow rotation. Short blips/fast rotation. This muscle memory will help to tighten power loops, Tight split S maneuvers, blind power loops and prop wash at the catch point.
Side note, add the pitch angle and throttle to your osd. These two instrument readings will make flying backwards/blind much easier. pay attention to what degree forward (25 degrees) and what throttle value (30%) you can fly forward and maintain levelish flight with. Then know that flying backwards with an angle of (-25d) and throttle of (30%) will maintain levelish flight backwards/blind.
To apply to power loops, when angling up for the beginning of the power loop the sequence would be something like, light acceleration through the 20 degrees-25d's (this gets you higher than your target) and then really throttle up for the 45d-up to 80d and this will create the backwards throw you need. Matty flips are the same timing as power loop just forwards and the high acceleration is on the bottom of the arc not the top.
