I actually use a switch in cleanflight to arm and disarm my naze32.
Do you know how to assign a specific channel to a switch on the radio?
1. Menu
2. hit +/- to highlight the model to set this up for, and then long press ENT to select the model
3. Page, page, page, page (4 times) which brings you to the Inputs screen
4. Choose your channel that you want to use for arming and disarming, and hit ENT
5. Name it ARM or something similar
6. Down, down to get to Source.
7. Now toggle the switch you want to assign the channel to(the switch you want to use for arming and disarming)
Cleanflight
8. Open Cleanflight, pick the modes tab, and pick the channel to use for arm. Flip your assigned switch and it should move the slider once you have it enabled and assigned to the channel you decided on.
I am going to go do a few flights before it gets dark, but this should get you pointed in the right direction.

Ok, I managed to add switch SG to my 5th channel. When I go to Cleanflight it doesn't recognize it in either the modes tab or receiver tab.Its ringolong

Go to the cli and type #map in CleanFlight.
Here is my mapping: Current assignment: TAER1234
What it means: Throttle, Aileron, Elevator, Rudder, Aux1, Aux2, Aux3, Aux4
Aux is mapped like this: Throttle, Aileron, Elevator, Rudder,Channel5, Channel6, Channel7, Channel8
I had to add a mixer too. Its the screen right after INPUT.
Under channel 6 add Arm as the source from the Input screen that you added before. so this will equate channel 6 to aux 3.
Test in cleanflight

After I enter map I get AETR1234
I'm putting the fc wire labeled throttle into channel 1 in the receiver even though its the 3rd wire coming from the board. Is this correct or should I plug the fc wires in order into the receiver making channel 3 throttle?
Okay, yeah everything is moving right in the receiver tab just not getting anything from AUX1. If I go to modes and click add range under Arm I get nothing when I flip my Channel 5 switch.
Maybe I need to use other wire harness labeled with inputs instead of using the receiver harness labeled AUX.?
To save us both the headache I think I'll just order another FC without all these wire harnesses.
