Symantec x5sw outside flight interference

Hey guys I'm new here,

I recently have been flying these mini quadcopters which are very fun to mess around with and I improved alot of flying skills with this.

Now, yesterday I got a goodbye present from my internship: a syma x5sw
This got me excited, a far more bigger drone with FPV camera. I flew it inside and i was amazed by the stability. Today I went outside at a park in my city to finally fly outside and really checking this drone out!

But... When taking off, going a few meters high altitude, its like continiously losing connection with the transmitter. When I pull the throttle down, it keeps flying and doesnt respond.

I calibrated it a lot of times by pulling Both sticks right-down and then left-down while checking the LEDlights. But still, every time when I fly, it loses connection, sometimes suddenly flying away into the grass.

Disconnected the camera, resetting the drone so no Wifi interference. Still same problem.

I depressed went home, took off inside, no problems.

Anyone knows the problem, familiar? I now can't really use my drone.

Regards,

Frank

Check and make sure the transmitter isn't in low power mode. If it is, the signal bars on the left side of the LED display will be flashing. If they are steady, it's in high power mode. The range is horrible in the low power setting.

I'm at work and don't have notes here to remind me how to change it, but do a YouTube search or two and you can find how.

I have an X5SW too...but I don't use the FPV camera with it. It's a great quad other than that camera.
