That's not too bad. Do you have a link for me to see what motors to get and what all would I have to do to install them?

No links, sorry. You'd have to measure the motor pods to see what would fit and with the motors you'd also need 4 small ESCs . Then there is the battery, again one that could be made to fit somehow.

The other thing to consider would be if the main board could handle the extra current.

I just found brushless motors for the Syma X8 series, on this website runquitoys.com. It really doesn't give a lot of info. There are pictures, including one that I assume shows the X8C with the brushless motors installed. It does show that it includes the ESC's. They cost $130.00 for the full set. If I didn't already have the X8G. I'd probably take the $136.00 that I paid for it, and the $130.00 that these brushless motors cost and buy a better quad. But, seeing as I already have the G, I'm considering doing the brushless upgrade. I've written to the vendor (whom I assume is in China) asking for more details. It may take a couple of days to get a reply. And, even then, I'm not sure I'll get the info I need. But, I will keep you posted.

The question is; are any of those designed to work with the Syma X8 series? And, regarding the complete kit. Well, it's not complete for one thing. You still need the transmitter, receiver, batteries, landing gear, etc. Seeing that I already have the quad, I'm just looking at upgrading, not starting from scratch. But, thanks for your input. I will check with the vendor on Ebay and ask them some questions regarding compatibility.

Most of the kits ive read about arent really all that good for the price.

I dont think any of them are install and fly...Alot more cost involved and considering the cost of the quad plus the kit its not really all that great and you would be way better off building from scratch or getting into a hobby grade quad thats ready to run.

The Cheerson CX20 or Quanum x6 are two affordable options with way more options than the Syma.

Great thanks for all the info. I am familiar with the cheerson cx20 but I am having a hard time finding the Quanum x6, I keep getting accrross with the he tarantula. Any pictures or links to the Quanum x6?!

Here you go. ..The quanum nova is probably a little better quality wise than the cheerson but either the cheerson or quanum would be leaps ahead of a brushless conversion for about the same cost but keep in mind its a whole new ball game to set up and fly ,you dont just put in a battery and bind it then its ready to fly..youll have to learn how to do some programming to get it like you want it...Im sure some of the guys on here could help you out with that process..http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...to_Fly_.html?gclid=CK7O_JjMy8oCFQdafgod7aEABw

I just ordered this radio today. Reviews were excellent and it looks really nice. I've got four different orders in transit, the suspense is killing me

Great thanks for all the help. I also been considering the traxxas Aton. I like the fact that it can do video filming and it can also do stunts and things like that which I really like. The only issue I have its the controller. But I like it over all. Any opinions?! Or suggestions?
