Stubborn quad refueses to take commands - New Build - New to RC

Bio:
Went through youtube university to learn how to build a quad due to interest and absolutely noting to do in Odessa TX...seriously if dirt doesn't give you a boner don't come here...
Watched to many RotorRiot videos and had to buy their gear...
Now I've gotten myself in $$$ deep and have all the toys with nothing to show for it due to the issue below.

Issue:

After building the quad (detailed components below), flashing the FC firmware, and pairing the radio I attempted to maiden the bird.
All the board lights and sounds activate(FC, ESC, Reciever, Transmitter), FPV cam to FatShark HD2 and the radio accurately receives telemetry/batt. status/signal strength etc.
The glaring issue is that the quad will not arm/start/engage the motors, more so when troubleshooting in KISS FLTCRL as seen below ...

...none of the sliders respond to the radio inputs. Everything else is operating nominally, I can find nothing online that offers a solution to what I am experiencing. More so since the quad wont recognize my radio inputs I cannot calibrate the ESCs as it requires the ability to arm the quad. If there is anyone out there with a idea to this issue I am all ears!

Thanks for the help!

Are you set up for pwm or ppm in the Cli tab. I don't use Taranis but maybe it's not compatible with the Rx. I could Google it for ya but I'm in work @the moment. Other than that sounds like you need to do some settings in cli tab, maybe Change the aetr1234 to taer1234 or something like that.

Just looked and they are compatible so have a look in configuration & cli tabs.
Don't know if taranis comes under spectrum or futaba, are you getting anything on your aux switches you shouldn't like throttle or pitch. We need information.

I've been in contact with the CO that sold me the KISS FC and we believe the board is damaged. I have a new FC arriving today, if the problem persists I'll update with additional info. Thank you for the reply!

I am done using KISS FCs and ESCs... after another FC arrived today I installed and flashed with the same issues persisting ... FAILURE ... I will not be going back to KISS gear in the near future. I cannot begin to describe the frustration I have with KISS FC and 24A ESCs.

Honestly it sound like your missing something. To send another board only to fail. Is a bit suspect. It seems the Tx is not speaking to the FC. You could build a quad & get it calibrated without a Tx.
Like I said go over the configuration & set the correct radio setup, spectrum or whatever.i use the fsi6 so I'm spectrum 1084. Select ppm or ibus whatever your Rx is. Also there are cli commands for this, so check the list & make sure it's in the list without a minus symbol. I think the command is
feature rx_ppm
Check the wiring from the FC to the rx is on the right pins. On my first build there was nothing on my sticks AETR were all on swa+b & vra+b. I had clicked the correct rx_parrallel_pwm box in CF config but it was only when I typed it in the Cli tab it actually corrected. Hope you can get what I'm saying. Because if it's none of this, then yeah kiss could kiss my arse.
Simonk 20A are doin me proud not one failure yet except for the one I melted after some dodgy soldering. Same with the naze32 afro rev6 dof takes a beating. Or take RENOV8R & the advice he gave me, reset to default.
