Send it back. It's a dud.
OK... news of sorts.... I had tried switching between Modes 1 & 2 before and nothing changed.
I just started it up and it was showing "Mode 1".... switched to 2 and no real improvement.
Switched back to "1" and I managed about 30cm off the ground (inside) Best ever result !
Would love to try outside, but, wouldn't you know it, first rain for about 2 weeks has set in!
Have to wait for further trialling but looking promising. Do you know the tech details of difference between 1 & 2 modes?
Anyway, thanks for your persistence with my problem.... much more than BG has done!
Further updates as they happen folks.
Sound just like mine! Practice a bit and you may find a "true" mode. You will know the stick moves or better still find out which mode setting give you one stick with throttle - and left and right "yaw" one stick should have forward - backward - Left and Right with a quad this means - assume your quad is in fron of you pointing away from you. Now if its hovering 3 feet up and stays still - if you move the stick left... the quad will move left - still facing the front- same with right. Move the stick up and it goes forward in teh direct facing - reverse this for... backwards - towards you. Thanks, that's interesting... When I switched between 1 & 2 modes... the left remained the throttle in each mode. (I don't know about right stick, basically haven't been able to sue it yet!) Just checked that again, and no matter which mode I select, left stick is throttle. Could they have changed the procedure? this is a brand new bird (I hope) and in Orange although the TX is red/white.
