Solar powered Quadcopter

Yesterday while I was browsing a few threads I saw where someone said they wanted to build a solar powered Quad, so I looked for some pictures of of them, and decided to post this one.

Without some impossibly efficient solar panels it would be impossible to get enough energy to run a quad, and the weight probably even out weighs the little it gives so that you would be better off without them. A solar plane is however possible as you can have a lot of surface and require little energy due to it gliding.

I don't know if something like that would work either, but I do know you sure would lose any ability to maneuver!
