this is getting complicated, fast. could you all post some pics of your craft (particularly quads) with the electronics easily seen - ie, batteries, step up/downs, wiring, connectors, zip ties, receivers, antennas, cams, etc - my craft is getting full, would like to see how you all have dealt with the architecture. thanks. mike

thanks for all the replies to my different question, all - you're very helpful. here's my (generic) 250, cheap chinese ebay frame, in progress. kk controller, spektrum receiver, 750kv motors (what i have on hand), ccd camera (12 volt - may have to switch to 5 volt) turnigy esc, gemfan 3x5 props, waiting for 808 camera and boscam transmitter. feel free to comment if you wish. the legs are home made, pvc pipe heated and shaped, painted. mike

well, i am VERY familiar with such crashes, unfortunately
my 200qx handled it by breaking an arm off the stock body; it now has the phoenix rc carbon frame, so far so good (i did an unboxing/build on youtube if anyone wants to see).
the cf frame on the 200qx has done well, no damage so far. the frame above has not been flown yet; and although i think these 'clones' are advertised as cf, i've read they are sort of a cf/fiberglass composite - they are only about $30 or so. i'll post more when i get it together. mike

Just about all CF quadcopter frames are a mix of CF and a composit. A 100% CF frame that size would be REALLY expensive it is $72.85 for a 400mmX500mmX1.0mm sheet, and that is not even cut into shape.
