Hi all,
I recently pulled this quad out of the closet and wanted to try to get it flying.. It never flew before..
It's an old T580G... A LotusRC product that looked like they flew pretty well after a few revisions..
It came as an ARF and so I went ahead and set it up... The motors were already connected to the flight controller so I just connected the radio as per manual...
At first it seemed like it was going to work, it armed and started up... But I noticed that when holding the model, as a test that the controls seemed reversed.. Forward leaned backwards and left was right, etc... So I thought that perhaps the controller was connected incorrectly... The Rx seems correct because the throttle is correct and the unit arms by holding the sticks down and out as per manual...
Here's the manual...

Numbering for the rotors are...
F
4 1
3 2
R
So I changed the outputs so that pitch and roll are correct but I don't know if the controller is correct. The only clue is that the FC arms with both sticks down and out, so it appears to like the inputs... If the inputs needed to be reversed I don't think it would arm as suggested...
Current config is:
F
2 3
1 4
R
Which is not what the manual says but it arms and forward stick now leans forward, left leans left, etc...
Any ideas before I try to test fly?
