Remote Locator for Quad?

I see Remote Locator devices advertised; put a small plastic piece on an item and use your smartphone to track/locate.
The unit looks small/light enough to fit on most quads. anyone consider using one?
I don't have a fancy schmancy phone/tablet but I think they make something that doesn't need one.

I got one too but I never installed it. Did you ever try yours?

I have not installed mine either lol. I purchased a wrong card for mine, and have not revisited yet. Once I get my builds straightened out I will though.
