Ready to upgrade. Need some advice.

Criminy! I placed an order with Banggood on February 21. Today, April 16 I FINALLY received my Cheerson CX-20! Surely it was a good price, but I swear I had three freakin' birthdays waiting for delivery! I'm stuck at work for the next ten hours, but looking forward to getting home and unpacking the new quad.
 
yep, that firmware flashing gizmo i just ordered, found out afterwards it's coming from China, so that'll be a few weeks then
 
stop press - my new txrx and carbon fibre props literally just arrived :D

the tx makes the old one I've been using so far look like a museum piece
 
both were very quick actually - the txrx was ordered on Weds this week - there's a very good UK supplier, ships direct from stock. The props were ordered Monday this week from ebay - tomshoo2015. So i can't complain really.

tx is a Flysky 6 channel FS-i6, fairly basic but will do for my needs for now.

Those carbon props are tough aren't they, I'll be able to strim most of the valley with those.
 
hmm, I do have a dremel in the garage so could try that, but seems a little destructive - i'll try both ways on a couple of props, see which one I get on with
 
Hi mate you wont notice that much its on the back edge , there is another way use clear lacquer spray , just spray on light side of prop
 
I balanced my props !

Here's my makeshift rig - that's a trivet standing on 4 ramikins, and a sawn-off propelling pencil used as a hub, which fits perfectly.
