Ready for a baby....

So, this is the first hobby grade quad I'll be purchasing and want to be sure what I need to look at.

So far my understanding is that a BNF comes with a battery, a PNP does not.

Will there need to a certain one to get to work with my Q X7?

Not sure about the battery - lots of ways the vendors package thing together.

In my reading/shopping, BNF means it comes with a receiver (appropriately selected for your radio) and PNP means you are responsible for providing and installing your own receiver.

If you meant receiver, than you will want one that is for FrSky.

Also you may want to check out this JB video comparing the BabyHawk to the Diatone GT-R90. I think UAVFutures has a similar comparison video. I think JB's summary was that both are good buys, the Diatone is $50 more, but has higher quality components. Good to know the pluses/minuses before you plunk down your money. I like both, but slightly leaning toward the Diatone, but it looks out of stock everywhere I've checked.

Very true. It will be a bit before I get another quad, saving up and all, so I'll have time to research.
