Mixed bag with this one

^^ this is the working one, motor leads were twisted properly the solder connections looked good the receiver pretty much works as expected.

^^ this one 'same model' but apparently different version was sent to me first and had numerous problems. Receiver would not stay in binding mode without putting significant pressure on the bind button and keeping it held down after powering up then binding. Even after getting binding working the soldering onto the 4 in one ESC was terrible and it shorted out I'm pretty sure so one motor wasn't spinning at all and another was twitching like it had a loose phase wire. Basically quality control is out the window.
The second one I got (first picture) is totally different

^^ both came from this amazon link from the same seller but two totally different packages. First one also had a JST connector instead of xt-30 or the balance lead style connection as pictured in the ad (and didn't come with a battery, second came with 350mAh 2S).
Second one they sent the binding worked out of the box as expected, the FC was basically pre-configured though I had to change the protocol from Spektrum1024 to Spektrum2048.
The working one flies pretty well. Some down sides, the camera isn't really held in place by anything other than friction (on the first one was just sitting on a bit of mounting tape, second one it was more tightly wedged into the front of the frame but still added some hot glue to keep it in there otherwise kept popping out). Two other smallish issues with the one that works, in angle mode it seems to have some drift, this could just be a calibration thing but I have attempted redoing the accelerometer calibration but to no avail, second issue is some drop outs on the radio transmission when I get pretty far out in a field but I may end up replacing the receiver anyhow once I get some antenna in to fix my other dsmx receiver.
Basically if you already know what you're looking at and can diagnose/fix issues yourself then this is a pretty good deal and ultimately pretty fun to fly, that said it is a case of you get what you pay for when it comes to QC or lack thereof and consistency in the product, but for $130 for something I can rip around outside and not worry so much about hurting someone in a crash it's worth it to me. Can roll and flip pretty easily, power loops take a lot out of it and it is shaky to recover from any sort of dives but fun cruiser (basically all the components could be better but would probably double the price).
