I bought a dromida kodo right before christmas. Used it a couple times before i ordered some extra batteries and chargers. Got them in the mail last week and flew it around house for most of the day. It was awesome! got some video, crashed a few times, all that fun stuff. Went inside when it got dark, charged up again and flew it around kitchen. Then it ended up in the dog's water bowl! I immediately got it out, shook it off, then stupidly kept flying it thinking that maybe it would blow dry itself. It wasnt flying so well, kept flipping and not taking off. Now it doesnt try to link with controller. Lights come on but dont blink when the battery is connected and never links up.
My question is ,what part would short out? The panel or the individual motors?

Hi mate its normally the FBC ( flight control board) if you can open the quad do so and put it some where warm to dry out , you may be lucky , if not see if you can get a bind and fly as you already have the transmitter

i took it apart and let it dry out then put back together. No luck on it trying to bind. Ordered a new board from amazon ($30 part for a quad that cost $60 new). I just hate trashing something that i only got to use a couple times. Now i guess i need to find out if anyone i know has a soldering iron...
I couldn't keep myself from going to hobby shop and laying down $300 for a blade 180qx hd and controller. That first flight got me hooked dammit! Its even crept into my dreams...

WEll the 180 qx will do that wait till you get in to the 250 racing FPV quads and the big 700mm quads fun to fly

If the new flight controller does not fix it you will probably need to buy a new Rx. If anything like that were to happen again land, and unplug the battery. The reason water hurts electronics is because it brings higher voltage to lower rated parts. The high voltage fries the low voltage parts. Wish you luck.
