I can't tell for sure if they are genuine Gemfan, but I purchased them all from Hobby King so I expect that they are genuine. As for carbon props, I've never used them. But considering the beating that the carbon frames take I'd imagine that they are pretty strong.
If you get a chance I highly suggest getting a few pairs of the ATG props in the picture. I bought the ATG's from a small shop in Hong Kong simply because no other shops in the area stocked 6 inch props and I had broken most of the (most likely cheap fake) props that came when I first got the quad. I wasn't expecting anything great from them as Hong Kong is notorious for fake, low quality ripoff items. But I was genuinely surprised and impressed. I only got a few of them originally and I had to share them out between two other friends, so when I placed my first Hobby King order I went a little crazy and got lots of Gemfan plastic props. When my order came and I used the Gemfan props, unfortunately I was less than impressed. So I went out and got every ATG 6 inch prop in the shop and have been happy flying ever since.
I'm not sure where you could buy them if you don't live in Hong Kong but to find that picture I simply google searched ATG propellers so I'm sure ebay or one of those other online shops would have them. Trust me. Give them a try and you'll not look back.
