Power from Naza lite for fpv

Hello all,

New to fpv but have been flying Quad and Hex multi-rotors for a couple of years.

Have not yet purchased any fpv gear yet but starting to do my research.

Both are using NAZA lite flight controllers.

Anyone using the regulated power output from the NAZA for powering fpv gear??

Thinking it would be a pretty clean source.

Thoughts anyone??

I always used a separate power source for the vtx and camera when I was flying the naza.

OK,

I am looking at the Runcam Split because it also records HD video. I am not a racer and generally would like to fly in my area FPV and also capture what I see.

This looks like a pretty compact an light system.

As far as a transmitter and goggles, I am still not sure what I would need and how much I would need to spend to be satisfied with what I would see.

OSD would be nice to have, especially if I could get altitude and speed displayed.

Feel free to chime in with opinions and reasons why you like and/or dislike certain components/systems.

Would you use this with a separate battery or with the flight pack??

Use it with the flight pack.

Get an iosd mini with headplays as the goggles. You will not be disappointed.

I use this one from RMRC as it has both 5V & 12V @ 1.5A per side. It'll power all the peripherals like vtx, cameras, LEDs, gimbals, retracts............

I have used these buck/boost converters for many years in many things.
You can get a super clean output of 5V or 12V by any batteries from 3 to 32v for $15 !!!!!
These are not just ordinary regulators (like in PDBs), they can run off of a single cell battery pack or six cell packs and still give you that 5 or 12 v at 2 amps
