Brand new Syma X5C, purchased for Christmas for my kid. The battery is fully charged and installed properly, but when I turn the copter's switch to "ON", the copter's lights will not come on and it will not pair with the transmitter. The camera lights DO come on, however.

Ok here's what you do ( and Im not being a wise guy) read the directions. Did you enable the motors?. Read every word of the manual.

Yes. Read it it fully before the first attempt at flying.. It flew for the first full battery charge just fine. Then, after swapping out for a fresh battery (we have six), the lights simply will not come on. There was no catastrophic crash or excessive running of the motor. Drone worked, battery ran low, then no lights/power. Except to the camera.

Try another battery, also make sure battery connection is good, I have had some problems with after market battery connectors not seating properly, wiggle the connector in good and tight.

Like Quest says, if the only variant is the battery then logically its a battery problem. If I were you that would be my focus.

Thanks for the replies. I had already fully charged and installed all six batteries (one at a time). With each battery, the camera light comes on, but no power to the rest of the copter. I'm concerned it's a board or wiring failure.
