I want the 20MP still image output from the Phantom 4 Pro but I also realize that DJI customer support ranges from terrible to non-existent and that includes warranty repairs. It seems like the $1500 Phantom 4 Pro is a disposable quadcopter in that regard. Crash it and buy a new one.
My question is whether it would be best to buy something like a Syma quadcopter to practice with for period of time before taking my chances with DJI.
If a starter or practice drone is advisable then I want the minimum that will provide this learning time at minimal cost. Or does it make sense to have a backup drone?
