Noob needing help...

Hey guys. How do I find the right replacement motors for a sky viper v2450 and a ares ethos qx130. Is this something i need to get from the manufacturer or is there some aftermarket ones out there somewhere I can get. if so, what do I need to know to find the right motors?

It looks like the Sky Viper takes an 8mm x 20mm motor (aka: 0820). Those are easy to find, Google "0820 coreless motor"). The Ares looks like either a 0716 (not quite as easy to find as the 0820's) or a 0816 (even less easy to find). My suggestion would be measure the diameter and length of the motor on that one to confirm. There are only a few standard sizes of those coreless motors.

Micro Motor Warehouse has most sizes of brushed motors in various levels of power

Only problem with MMW is the prices. They mostly carry Chaoli motors, though, and they are good quality.

Replace them with some new & widely available motors, jus check the sizes.
