Hi folks just new to this quad copter game and enjoying it so far kinda, I'm having a few little problems, I'll let you know my setup.
Frame - f450 copy
FC- kk2.1
Esc- HobbyKing ubec 20a simonk
Motors- AGM 2213-935KV
Props-1045-( came with motors)
Battery - Floureon 11.1v 30c 3000 mah 3s
PDb- was just off eBay
Tx/Rx- FlySky FS-T6

So the couple of little problems I am having are the kk2.1 board isn't registering a voltage for the battery it says 0v constantly and the 2nd little problem is it's saying there is no Yaw input.
There is one big problem but
I will leave that for another day

The No yaw input means that your transmitter was turned on after the quadcopter or was not bound. And do you have the battery plugged into the Vin?


It is the red header that says batt, just plug the + right off from the battery or PDB, and leave the negative free.

Awesome ive got you , thank you very much makes sense it was turned on after powering up much appreciated. Think I made the mistake of jumping in at the deep end with a build from ground but coping pretty well I think. What is the Vin ?

Ahh okay cheers bud, I'm just wondering how I'm going to go about connecting the battery up to that as my batt just plugs straight into my pdb, ?

Take power from the PDB (only the positive lead), and plug it into the positive on the batt for the PDB. You probably just need to grab a wire and an end then just solder it on.

Ahh there's an aux on the pdb I'll be able use that just a single line from the + on that too the + on the fc ?

Ahh got us ok kl now I've got 2 bigger problems I think I've figured one of them out my escape were getting super hot super quickly and three of them blew a mosfet each turns out I think the gold plated bullet connectors are not insulted and have been shorting against each other the other problem I have is when I put my lips on charge it comes up with an error message saying batt vol err cell low vol any ideas it's brand new pretty much

Sounds like you over discharged it, it is possible to revive one, but it is 50/50. If your charger has Li-Ion set it to that or Ni-Mh, and have it charge to the voltage on the pack (1S = 3.7, 2S = 7.4, 3S = 11.1, 4S = 14.8 ). After you get there charge it the rest of the way to full on the Li-Po setting, the battery could be ruined, you'll notice when you discharge if it is uneven. Only trickle/balance charge it, if you speed charge it while it is like this it will be ruined.

As for the bullet connecters: pitch them and direct solder the wires, be sure to use plenty of heat shrink.

Funny thing is I've never dos charged the battery n the lowest voltage has been 11.1v it's a 3s battery when I first got the batt it would only ever charge up to 11.93 which I found strange cause I thought it was meant to charge to 12.6 4.2v per cell

I'm trying it just now on a 0.1a charge and it's got too 11.29v so far it's an imax B6AC charger I had some problems with the charger but seems to be working ok just now

Ohh and the battery is a floureon battle got it in my metal box I have a funny feeling it's the charger rather than the batt just having a disaster with these quads lol

Just a quick question just reused I never plugged in the data part into the charger is that a problem ?

Yes, that is the balance plug, it makes sure some cells are not over charged and that others are not undercharged. If it is a dead LiPo that needs revived, only use the balance plug and not the main.

It just keeps saying connection break when I try with just balance cable I don't need to put the power cables in no ?
