Hello, my name is Hayden Evans. I am 18 years old and my parents bought me a Blade qx 350 as a graduation present. I have been doing photography and videography for a little over a year and a friend of mine let me borrow his 350 for a video I made seen below. The end of the video has a bad crash that was caused by me accidently flipping the mode switch. The whole thing was wrecked but I took responsibility and repaired the whole thing myself. But now with my own blade I have been practicing with it regular and can't wait to do some proper videos and photos with it. I have some experience with RC which is a HPI Baja 5T that I have owned for awhile but now it mainly sits in a covered waiting for a new controller and some spare time to get it going again. I'm still very new to all the electronics and the overall works of a quad copter but over time I want to get a gimbal and maybe even build a fpv system. I can't wait to start discussing and learning with the help of this forum.
Here's a link to the first video I've ever made with a quad copter which was borrowed form a friend.
One question I have right now with the blade. What are the firm ware 2.0 modes? Green, blue, then pinkish purple? I used the 1.0 and this one seems to handle differently and the manual only has 1.0 modes.
Does the lo and the hi switch do anything? It's located on the right of the controller and I don't see a difference with anything when I toggle it.
That's all of the questions I have for now and I know I'll have many more. Thanks guys
