They do look very similar in design and specs. The price is very different. One might use better parts, but they aren't advertising whose parts they used so you can't really be sure. Welcome to the forum, we are glad to have you. I hope it goes really well, just don't get discouraged by crashes and repairs. Both will happen for newer pilots, less so if you take it slow, but it will still happen. I like to use repairs as an excuse to improve my designs and parts so that buying new parts hurts less
It is Force 1's re-brand of the MJX Bugs B2W. They get excellent reviews and <$100 is a great price for that quad. Have fun with it...keep it close while you're learning. MJX makes some really good quads.
I don’t actually have a link. I went to the Force1 Facebook page and under offers it lists there promotions, many are at 70% off. When you click on an offer it will tell you if it is sold out or not. If not it will give you a promotional code to enter in Amazon when checking out. In my case it gave me. $209.99 dollar discount. What is odd if I bring up there Facebook page on my desktop no offers show, but when I check their page on my iPad it lists the offers.
I like MJX too, my first FPV was the X101, loved that thing until it flew away and kept on going ... lol ...
It's happened to the best of us when we were learning! I bought my nephew an X708 for Christmas this year. Should be a good quad to learn on.
