So I accidentally broke off the voltage regulator (I think) in blue along with the capacitor in red and tried to replace the regulator but wouldn't work. So I jumped the source and output pins and it came alive! Despite the capacitor still being removed and whatever the component in green was? My questions are...
Does anyone know what the component in green was?
It binds and communicates with the TX and FC fine but does anyone know whether the missing components will have any unforseen effects? Being non regulated and missing capacitor.
Why does it have a 5v regulator in the first place if it's only meant to have a 5v supply to it anyways?
Being in between I don't want to spend any money on a new RX so trying to make due with what I got! Thanks!
