Need advice. Motors for tarot 680 pro?

I am going to be building a hexacopter based on the Tarot 680 Pro frame with a Naza flight controller. I want it to be able to carry a light mirrorless camera such as a GH2, GH3 or GH4. What would be a good dependable motor that could lift this and give me about 12-15 minutes of airtime?

Depends on your budget, can you add that info in? I'd suggest some low KV motors of a good reputable brand.

Really good looking motors. You might want to run your voltage plans and motor/prop combo through a calculator though to make sure you're ESCs will handle the voltage and amperage needed to preform how you want. I suggest a higher voltage combination to increase flight times due to lower amp draw. Might also check out some of the quantum garrt and tiger brand motors.

Apparent the Tarot 680 Pro will fit the E800 motors so I will probably end up getting the E800 Tuned Kit from DJI. I will make a vlog of the build if anyone is interested. I will show the world how much I have to learn and how little I know (-:

The e800 motors are a good fit for the 680, have a lot of power, are priced cheap, and will be better for lifting the heaver cameras that you have in mind.

I tried the e800 on my 680, but there was more vibration than my liking so I went back to the e600, but I was only flying a gopro.

Would love to see this build as it takes place

Nice. Looks real stable. You said there was too much vibration with the E800 setup. Do you think it was due to too much motor vibration, too big a motor with not enough weight, an unbalanced prop, or something else. When I fly the Phantom it is strictly for video and not pleasure if that makes any sense. The Tarot when built will also be for video & photography. I fly the 250 racer and cheap Syma for fun and practice. There is no GPS or barometer so flying those keeps my skills somewhat polished.

Sorry, one more question. With the E800 setup, did the 13.5 inch props fit?

Makes perfect sense.

I seen a few other videos where guys using the e800 were getting vibrations similar to what I was experiencing. (Shaking and not jello) It could have been due to not lifting enough weight.

I did not have the pro because I don't like the look of the plastic motor mounts so I used the 12x42, and they were balanced. (same props I used for the e600 motors) If you have the pro the 13 inch props will fit.

Not sure how far you want to get into this, but you can balance motor hubs and props if needed to help. Vibration is almost always an annoying problem at first.

Ok, I have decided to go with this setup unless anyone thinks this is a bad combination of products. The idea is to be able to lift a light mirrorless camera, GH2, 3 or 4. Before that time I will probably just run a gopro, maybe even two. I've got three laying around. I think this setup will be able to handle the weight.

That is a large hex. It will be able to lift Panasonic camera with ease.

Have you looked at the DJI e1200? I had it and it is very good quality. 17 inch props and high efficiency.

They cost around $240 for a set of two. Just a bit over what I want to spend, although they are probably a little better quality.

Saw this on eBay. It was an impulse buy but seemed like a good deal so I waited till the last second, I bid and won. I paid $207 for the below used but in good shape according to the seller. When I receive it I will post my build progress.
