Long story short; I crashed my quad and busted the frame (apparently powerlines are a drone's enemy). In frustration I loaded up the cracked and wounded machine and left the field I was flying in. My only assumption is that I left the transmitter behind, or forgot it on top of my car when I drove off. I have put the quad back together, but now I need a new transmitter and have no idea where to start.
The quad is a black FUAV Seraphi.
I am still new to the arena of quadcopters. My last journey with RC planes and boats all had transmitters and receivers with crystals. I am learning that technology has changed.
I have a pair of quads; both are inexpensive compared to what I have seen. my starter that got me addicted is a World Tech Toys Striker. My brother bought a DJI Phantom to use for photography and I quickly realized that I wanted the options he had, such as GPS. Now I have a quad and no way to fly it.
I regret not getting a Phantom. I have learned that this particular Chinese copycat is hard to locate parts for.
