Hi guys and thanks for these forums. I have built my first drone with the intention of having long flight time. I did not want to buy DJI avata because I couldnt justify what minutes of flight time and the amount of money it costs. I looked around hard and I decided to jump into the hobby of quad building. So far I am very glad, I learned a lot following youtube tutorials. I built my first one, of course after burning two FC stacks ( didn't clean the flux after soldering, they both smoked) but my 3rd one worked just fine. Here is what my third one is like below
MAMBA MK4 F722 MINI with MAMBA F40_128k MINI ESC
DJI 03 air unit
mateksys m8q-5883
GEPRC GR1404 2750KV
Frame is QUADMULA
with these, I was able to build just a fine quad using betaflight, I configured everything fine and I am able to take off and fly around. however, I want to switch to INAV because I like the idea of altitude holding and controlled flight. But I cant do this because it seems the air unit that I am using is not supported by INAV, although this guy at YouTube says now it does support. I followed his instructions to the letter but still no success, is it the air unit, is it the board itself, I am confused. the 03 air unit will simply not power on once the battery is plugged like it does in betaflight. in ports tab, uart 1 is my RX, uart 2 is my GPS and uart 3 is suppose to be MSP Display Port in the peripheral section. any help is appreciated.
