My drone won’t take off two motors lag for take off.

Hello, my name is Isaac. I am new to using a drone. I do lots of fishing. so I went with a Poseidon 480 water proof drone. The drone will not take off. It flips to the left if its facing you. The motors on the right will not spin up when I try to get it to take off. It just flips. I downloaded the software and couldn’t find anything wrong. I am new to this so I know a little about what I’m looking at. Any help would be appreciated. Here is a video of the problem.

Forget your problem. I see a young child in your avatar and I can hear he/she in the background as you arm this huge craft on your dining room table. I know you're new to the hobby but seriously are you new to a little common sense? May be a little harsh but you must realize that it isn't a toy and can cause serious injury/death. If you don't believe me, just google drone injuries. Better have a strong stomach though........

Hi mate it's hard to see the motors spin make sure props are on the right motors they will spin
Front left CW front right CCW . Back left CCW back right CW
Also it's better to get into the habit of calibration at the point take off , if you hit return home it will go to that point

Common sense? I know the damages these things can cause my son was no where near me or my wife as we filmed this he was in the other room with his grandma. He was fussy that day so he was noisy. But thanks for your worries. Sorry about the video. I have a better one I’ll post. The motors spin the right way. The props on these drones only go on the designated motor you can’t mix them up. I did check it though to make sure when I first got the drone and learned it wasn’t taking off. I didn’t know that I always calibrate it on a flat service and then take it to the yard so I don’t damage the props. I will post more videos I have posted.

It has been like this since I received it. It wants to fly and would love it too. But I’ve been trying to figure out what would cause the motors on the right to lag and not throttle up with motors on the left.

Okay, not the ultimate expert here, but one of my RTF Quads acted the same way. It would flip on its back when I hit the auto liftoff.

In my case it needed a Compass Calibration and the location I was attempting to that in just would not work.

Different location and Compass Calibration succeeded and it flew GREAT!.

Also, when bench testing a quad indoors, it is best to remove PROPS. You can see the motors turning well enough to see what they are doing. Don't ask how I know this....

Also not an expert, but I've seen multiple posts in different forums saying that you should be away from metal, phones, etc during compass calibration. Not sure how far away is necessary, but I just had to recalibrate my compass yesterday after a crash and it wouldn't calibrate with my phone in my pocket. Took the phone out, moved about 10 feet away and it calibrated fine.

Have you done imu calibration make sure the quad is 100% level , Imu is the tab after battery failsafe in the naza assist software

THanks everyone for the help and advice. I’m at work right now so when I get home I will try what was advised. I haven’t done the imu calibration yet. Lol yea their are Alotta stories I read about people leaving their props on and testing it. Can’t imagine how you found out about it. If any of this solves my problem I will post back. Thanks a lot everyone. And glad to be part of the community.

It reminds me of when I replaced a prop and put the wrong one and it was forcing it down on one side and at times flipping it.
