Hi all,
So, I am new to Quads, but not to electronics/programming. I have an out of the box Heli which I can fly reasonably well (although response time is terrible!), and now wish to progress onto a DIY Quad build.
My overall requirements are basic (FPV, GPS)
To start I am going to ignore the FPV requirements but wish to plan ahead and somewhat future proof the setup.
Attached is a pdf of my required parts and optional parts (optional parts to be purchased at a later date)
The advice I am seeking is regarding:
Now, I do like a little bit of speed and agility, so I'm hoping that the motors I have picked will give me the responsiveness and agility that is to my liking.
Many thanks in advance for your help.

The advice I am seeking is regarding:
- Motors (NTM PROP DRIVE SERIES 2830-1100KV - will these do the job nicely or are they far too overpowered?)
- Props (have absolutely no idea)
- Transmitter module for the 9XR
- Receiver module
- Camera setup in the 'optional parts' area of the pdf (are all the components compatible, have I made any glaring mistakes etc!)
Now, I do like a little bit of speed and agility, so I'm hoping that the motors I have picked will give me the responsiveness and agility that is to my liking.
