Instead of making a new thread, quick question in here please. I have a Skytech m68r ( it's my nephews ) I see different size of batteries that are available. Example 3.7 V 500mhz, 3.7 V 700 MHz. I was just wondering. Can I use a 3.7V 1000mhz without blowing any parts inside the drone. It's basically as you've guessed, for longer flying time.
You can, but you're basically doubling the weight. I've done this and it just turned the quad into a flying slug. Plus you'll have to account for the much larger size
Thanks for the reply. The battery is basically the same size, maybe a few cm's bigger, so weight shouldn't be an issue. I'm kind of looking to over clock the drone in anyway possible, it's my nephews but I'll be messing around with it. Also is it true - the little four motors and blades changed can help with flight time and speed.
