"Mini" is not for me

Tried to print miniatures but failed miserably.
Problem is not on printing. Problem is on removing the supports without breaking the parts needed.
I use Cura . I don't know how to use the fancy "tree support" option. I tried the "touching buildplate" option, but some parts did not get printed correctly. So, I had to do the "everywhere" option.
Done 6 of them. Only one survives (the gray one at the front row)



The white ones are 300% of the original miniature files.

Go into your hidden Cura support settings and you'll find a setting called "support distance". This is the distance between your actual part and the support and if I remember, default is .1mm. Increasing the distance will make the supports much easier to remove they're not bonded onto the part as much. You may have to experiment a bit, I think I ended up with a .4 mm gap.

On Cura 3.4.1 which I am using ...…...

There are :
Support Z distance
Support top distance
Support bottom distance.
They are set at 0.1mm. Not sure that is what you are referring to.
Support x/y distance is at 0.7mm

I'll check the more recent cura. 4.3 version.

OK, try changing you top and bottom distance settings from .1mm to .5mm. Should make the supports easier to remove.

Hopefully it's better, but it's a known fact that Cura supports have always been a bit messy. If you wanted to experiment a bit, you could try Slic3r slicer instead of Cura, results may be better.

Yes. That makes removing Supports a lot easier.

Don't overlook the micro mini at the front row, right side. It's less than 1 inch tall, 1/2 inch wide.
