My situation is not exactly "Normal." I live with a retired colonel and his wife, the sergeant major. They have 2 rescue dogs and 2 cats. The dogs are Shadow, a husky, and Eclipse, a very young Labrador. You can guess Eclipse's color. The cats are named for Marine Generals, Chesty and Mad Dog. Who would name a cat "Mad Dog?"

Being ASD, a dog's noise activity is sometimes a bit off-putting to me, so I'm more of a cat person. Their soft, cuddliness and quiet manner is more suited to me, and the purr has always been soothing to me.

Mad Dog helps me with computer work, though he introduces many typos to code.


They all hate quads and will run off if one appears.
