Hi mate we will do this a question at a time , yes the KK is powered from the ESC only the ESC for motor 1 from the Bec in the ESC ( unless its an afro or opto these dont all have Becs) a switch Bec is better than a linear Bec as these get hot . Most remove the red wire from the other 3 ESCs, The KK will power the Receiver normally through the throttle servo wire ( the wire that runs from the throttle pins on the KK to the throttle channel on the receiver .
You can power the KK from the receiver so the BEC will plug into the receiver then this will power the KK , this is what the batt connection on the receiver is for
You dont need a link all you do is plug the servo wire from the BEC ( it only has the power wires red/black in , and the servo wire out) in to the receiver batt pins , if you look at the receiver it will normally have a mark on it to show ,signal/pos/neg pins , Live is always the middle pin so even if you do manage to plug in back to front all that will happen is it will not power up ( now all servo wires have 3 colours of wire the middle is always live the lightest colour wire is always the signal wire
hope this helps
PS , never be sorry for asking questions , ask as many as you need to get it right in your head
