Kaideng K70c Arm snapped off repair!

Hi my kaideng skywarrior recently cut off mid flight and one of the arms snapped off the body, is their a way i can fix this, is there a specific type of glue i can use? Banggoods returns policy is useless.

Just about all low to mid range drone sellers have a blanket return exclusion for crash-related damage. So that's not surprising. Where along the arm did the break occur? It may be repairable, if not at a joint such as where it meets the fuselage.

I'm leery about trying to repair the break there. It's possible to do it. But you may have to use so much reinforcing material, that the weight balance would be thrown off. Does the manufacturer sell replacement bodies?

You just learned an important lesson. Do your research and make sure there's every type of replacement part available before you buy a toy quad. I did a pretty extensive search, doesn't appear that part's available on it's own and it's definitely not repairable.

If the operating equipment is salvageable, perhaps you could fabricate a replacement body from available genetic parts, to install them in.

Everything is worth a shot at repairing. It might not work, but still try it. :)

Even if the body is not repairable, don't throw it away. If you buy a replacement of the same drone, you can salvage the mechanism, electronics, and body components that weren't broken, as replacement parts for the new one. In the Air Force, that's standard practice for planes no longer airworthy, while there are still others of the same model flying. Airlines do it too. With a drone like some costing up in the several hundred, or thousands of dollars, I wouldn't think of just tossing that in the can, when I could salvage everything useable off it for another drone.

Hey guys i literally had to take the entire drone apart and managed to take off the piece where the arm meets the body i took it off and glued it in a vice, i then put metal pins and taped the hell out of it, its all sorted! Thanks for all the help.
