Hello, is quadcopter drone FPV video encrypted? If I bought one of those 32 or 40 channel 5.8ghz receiver monitors would I be able to view the video of one that was close by?
If so, can anyone list agood source for one?

No, it is not. Yes, if you bought a monitor and tuned it to the aircraft's frequency and channel you would be able to view the video.
