Hi.
New to the forums here.

I would love to get into FPV, but atm I haven't the money. I Will...but I don't. :)
Let's say that this is a mental exercise.

I do have a Parrot 2.0 that I've owned for a few years and it's great for what it is. Flying it is relatively easy, but I know that I would be able to fly much better in fpv.
What I'm wondering is if I can replace the guts of the Parrot with a Naze32 board, and sort of reuse the rest of the drone, with the appropriate modifications.

Thoughts?

Don't speak too quick, with FPV you have no idea that is around you and it feels REALLY off at first (my experience with goggles, screens will be different). One issue is with taking off, it you are anywhere near yourself it feels like your going to hit yourself, landing is worse as you have only a general idea of where you are. Sounds like you need to get orientation down a little better haha.

I agree with Jackson and GJH105775. I found that I cannot use goggles at all. I thought, like you, that FPV would make it easier to fly. Not really. It is just a different type of flying. Using a screen IS fun. I cannot fly using just the screen. I have to look up. It is helpful lining up video. You may have an entirely different experience. No harm in trying and you might find it IS a help for you. My crash record is intact.......with or without FPV:D
