So I'm pretty ecstatic right now, my first build went flawlessly, setup went flawlessly and my first flight went, you guessed it; flawlessly. Of course I'd like to give a big thanks to everyone whose put up with me over the past few weeks, and all the info and help and direction everyone has given me.
Anyways, the point of this post is that my dad's attitude towards quads has shifted over the past few weeks from polite dismissal of the hobby, to slight interest, all the way to wanting to build one of his own now that he's seen mine. He has a background in helicopters, and is able to fly my 250 pretty decently, but he wants to build something "slow and lazy" in his words. He mostly wants to be able to record video, but he wants me to come up with the B.O.M, but there's the problem. I've been researching quick and twitchy for the past month, so I could use some direction as to where to begin with AP.
I'm sorry if this is long or annoying, I'm still just floating from my build today. Besides, I feel a sense of community here, and I like to share :3
