I bought a QR X350Pro

First off I had trouble getting it off the ground. Wanted to tip over toward me. After carefully checking the motors from start to stop, one motor would start late and stop earlier than the other three. I stripped the motor and found two small bits of metal stuck to the magnets. Assuming that I had found the problem I reassembled the quad and tried to fly again. I got it off the ground but had to apply forward pitch to obtain some sort of hover. When it landed I again observed the motors (props) and this motor was surging and there was a lot of vibration.
I would appreciate any help you can give me.

I would try re calibrating the fcb..not sure of the procedure on that model but, there is a simple way im sure...it usually involves moving both sticks in a certain direction on most...I'll assume all your settings are centered on the radio?..if not, make sure they are before re calibration to eliminate that possible issue...Wish i could help more with it.

Type in "walkera 350 pro start up and calibration", On youtube..It seems a video by heli pal shows how to do this ...Best of luck to you.
