Holy Stone - good for a newbie?

I'm planning to get my husband a quadcopter for Father's Day. I was initially looking at a Syma X5C-1 but I was having a hard time finding one that was for sure genuine and not a knockoff, and I wasn't sure if that was a good starter. In my searching I stumbled upon Holy Stone quadcopters. Right now I'm looking at the F180C, M62R, and M68 - in that order. Can anyone tell me if any of those would be a good starter? Or if there is a better option? I don't want to spend too much on a starter, but I do want to get him something that is fun, sturdy, and decent, preferably with a camera. I'm pretty out of my element here! I have no idea where to start. Any help would be super appreciated! Thanks guys!

Hi well if it was me I would get the F180c it looks a really good quad the modes are great for a newbie to fly with , I see it has return home mode headless mode so will follow stick inputs no mater what way the quad is facing , and with a camera , I am looking into getting a quad with a camera for my holiday that will just drop in my bag so I may get this one , nice find

Awesome, thank you so much for your input! After watching a few more reviews and reading more about them this morning I was strongly leaning to the F180C. I think I'll go with that one. One more question, not so related to the quad directly, do you know much about the Canopy 2-year protection plan available when you purchase through Amazon? It's only $5, but is it worth it? Any idea? Thanks again!

Hi If it covers motors etc yes its worth it , the corless motors will not last forever so will need to be replaced at some point, We dont get that in you UK well I have never been offered it when I buy through amazon , you wont go wrong with this quad and its a good price

Perfect. I guess even if it's not so great, it's only $5. Thanks so much for your help!

One thing I will say is when he does a video he must press stop recording or the file will go corrupt and will loose the footage
