Hi, I just joined today to ask some questions on my first build. I must say the information that you guys and gals provide is great.
I am building a quad with my son so he can learn some electronics knowledge. I my self am a software engineer and also have a degree in electrical engineering so building toys like this really feeds my inner nerd. I also am a VFR private pilot so I really enjoy flying.
My build is going to be on a S500 frame, just going to start with the basics, A F4 Beta Flight controller, 4 ESC's a FrSky transmitter and receiver. I plan to add in the future a TBS Unity Pro video transmitter and headset after I get the basic flight controls down.
